What is junkcity
The Junkcity map came into existence sometime around the beginning of half-life 2 deathmatch’s life in 2004.
Although the first incarnation (gear_junkcity) has been lost to the community for sometime now the first revision, gear_junkcity_v2 is still being played on servers and more importantly has gone onto form the basis of subsequent maps bearing the prefix junkcity.
This site has been set up to help document that progression and act as a resource for all junkcity fans. feel free to download and host any of the maps you find here or suggest any new maps you may have come across.
